Do you keep a journal?

If you do, probably you already know that it doesn’t have to be perfect. You don’t even need to be a writeR to write a journal. For the benefit, keeping a journal is said to be a good way to relax especially if you are not the kind of person who is outgoing and loves the quietness of your surroundings.

Here are some tips to consider if you are planning to start writing your journal.

  1. Write what you feel, observed or experienced daily.
  2. Remember, it doesn’t have to be written in perfect grammar or format.
  3. Be creative, meaning you can design your journal the way you want it.
  4. Don’t limit your thoughts- write whatever, you can rant, praise, comment, or pour out what you can say verbally, if you are angry for instance, better write it down.
  5. Don’t wait for the right time, place or find a perfect paper to write, draft it on your phone and transfer it after. Your ideas may be gone quickly and the intensity of your thoughts may not be the same anymore.
  6. Keep your journal with you anywhere so you can write anytime you feel.
Your writing is your feeling left unspoken.
