Do you know some Filipino traditions? I was born and raised in the Philippines. As a Filipina citizen I am familiar with the different Filipino traditions and one of them is family solidarity, especially during special occasions such as Christmas .
Filipino people are known for gracious hospitality, preparing and participating in different festival celebrations, giving respect to elders such as saying “po at opo” to the elders. The value of faith in God is also one of the culture practices in the Philippines during Lenten season or going churches every Sunday with their families. And of course, Filipino love to eat different Filipino traditional foods such as, Filipino delicacies, Filipino food dishes and a lot more.
Philippines is consider as a rich culture. Which give a significant impact for Filipino people to appreciate and continuously practice this cultures in all generations. Until today the Filipino traditions continue to be made and improved for pride as being a Filipino.

1. Bayanihan (We Are Heroes to Each Other)
The word “bayanihan,” which is derived from the words “bayan,” which means “community,” and “bayani,” which means “heroes,” describes the phenomenon that takes place when Filipinos come together to perform heroic acts for those in need without expecting anything in return.
2. Giving Respect to Elders by “Pagmamano”
Being a predominantly Catholic nation, the Philippines has some traditions that the Filipinos have adopted. Respecting elders is a distinctive tradition in every Filipino family.
3. 4-month Christmas Season
