This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into by and between:
HEAC (Hereinafter referred to as “HEAC”)
AND
The Student (Hereinafter referred to as “Student”)
For the purpose of this Agreement, the term “Student” includes any client, parent, teacher, private individual, or organization who is in contact with the tutor to engage in tutoring services.
Effective Date: Immediately upon contact
1. Purpose of HEAC’s Platform
- HEAC operates as a platform for connecting students and tutors. It is important to note that HEAC does not employ tutors and does not provide services directly related to the tutoring. HEAC only facilitates the connection between the Student and the Tutor. The Student and Tutor are responsible for negotiating terms, including but not limited to, class schedules, pricing, and any other relevant conditions.
2. Booking and Payment Process
- Students may freely book tutors at their own risk, and are advised to take care in choosing tutors based on their preferences.
- Payment for tutoring services is directly deposited into the Tutor’s account by the Student. HEAC is not involved in the handling, management, or receipt of payments related to the tutoring services rendered.
- The Student and Tutor are solely responsible for the financial arrangement, and HEAC does not act as an intermediary for any monetary transactions.
- HEAC strongly suggests that students book a trial class with the tutor before committing to a longer series of classes. This allows the Student to evaluate the Tutor’s teaching style and ensure compatibility before making a long-term commitment.
3. Trial Classes

4. No Refunds
- HEAC does not offer refunds for any payments made by the Student for tutoring services. Once payment is made, it is considered final and non-refundable.
- The Student acknowledges and agrees to book tutors at their own risk, understanding that HEAC is not responsible for the quality of tutoring or any dissatisfaction with the services provided by the Tutor.
5. Liability and Responsibility
- The Student agrees that HEAC is not liable for any disputes or issues that arise between the Student and the Tutor, including but not limited to disputes regarding payment, schedule, conduct, or lesson quality.
- HEAC is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or issues that may occur during tutoring sessions. The Student and Tutor should independently assess their own needs for safety and security during their interactions.
6. Miscellaneous
- Amendment of Agreement: This Agreement may be amended only in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
- Severability: If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the remainder of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect.
- Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the [insert location] jurisdiction, and both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
